Jared Shulse is in his eighth year as a music educator, his fifth at Paris R-II. He directs the High School Band and Choir, the Seventh Grade Band, the Junior High Choir, and the Fifth Grade Band. He also teaches Music for Grades PK-2.
He is active in several community music and theater organizations across northern Missouri. He serves as organist and directs the choir at the Paris United Methodist Church.
Mr. Shulse is Vice-President of the Missouri Small School Band Directors Association, and is also a member of the Missouri Music Educators Association, Missouri Bandmasters Association, Missouri State Teachers Association, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. He serves the Paris Community Teachers Association as its President.
Shulse resides in Paris with his wife of nine years, Amy, 5 year old daughter, Maggie, and two dumb but lovable dogs, Gypsy and Moose. When not musicing, you can probably find him throwing rocks into Mark Twain Lake or exploring some far off back road looking for geocaches or interesting spots.
